You shouldn't expect too much from the food because almost all of the dishes are simple but they taste good. The staff wasn't unfriendly with us. The visit is definitely worth it, if only because of the unique atmosphere. After dinner you can take a nice walk along the Ruhr or visit the old town of Kettwig.

Cozy little ship on which or in front of which you can take a breather from a bike tour or a pedal boat. There is good home-style food and fresh cakes baked on the ship.

Simple, good, tasty dishes. A nice place to stop. A very nice, attentive, never pushy waiter. Here holiday feelings are awakened and served positively.

Ambience 4 * Service 2 * Price / performance 2 * We only drank one pils at a time, which fortunately is tapped. The service was due to lack of interest and unfriendliness, unfortunately below average, or maybe mediocre - a shame! € 4.60 for a tapped Königspilsner is relatively disproportionate. After all, this is not Düsseldorf, Munich, or the Zugspitze - where a Franziskaner on tap costs € 4.20, by the way. I cannot comment on the food.

Good food and nice service (unfortunately alone, therefore longer waiting time). The outside area is partitioned to the street (glass walls), but the street is heavily used and therefore the outside area to the street is uncomfortable.

It was my first time in this location and I was torn after the visit. The currywurst with chips and mayo unfortunately tasted a little warmed up. However, service was friendly and the ambience outside and inside was very nicely designed. In contrast to the currywurst, the rest of the food was delicious and sufficiently warm.

Nice place to relax, what delicious food great views, watching ducks and great I think dogs are not a problem!

Home cold or even rude (we were almost ignored on returning ... despite our greeting). No customer in the restaurant but 15 minutes waiting before we bring a card. (We even thought it was closed). My wife specifically asked for a meatless dish (vegan) for which she was assured that there would be no problem and, confidently, she ate it to discover, in the middle of the meal, with horror pieces of bacon in the thick sauce with mushrooms (chanterelles). After claim, at the counter not to make a scandal, and crutches ..., but the responsible (aged) has almost ignored by going into the kitchen so she came back and the manager (younger) finally joined us at our table to say before the other customers that we were wrong ("No, no, they are indeed chanterelles"), while it was shown (see last photo) but, finally, came back again for s excuse flatly and offered us the dish as well as two extra glasses of wine. In the end, we did not appreciate that our word was questioned ... but we appreciated the excuses and the commercial gesture (hence this long comment with photos because, apart from that but also the non-existent home and this rating of 2/5, the rest was fine). I still want to note that my wife was sick shortly after, until the next day ... maybe a problem of bad cooking or bad products?

Always a place to stay. A really nice place in Kettwig. Friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommended.

I will never go back. rude and arrogant service, very expensive. I was forbidden to drink an espresso just because it was Sunday. I do not understand this marketing policy. Maybe the manager prefers to lose customers instead of winning them. very dissatisfied
